The booth for the Maker Faire was designed to showcase the stepping stone molds and provide a sales area for concrete mix products. A concrete bench provided a place for people to sit and take a break, and the concrete barbecue grill surround acted as a conversation point for interested people. Designing the booth, setting it up, and talking to literally hundreds of people about what we do was a lot of fun. The signage featured step-by-step instructions for an easy to make 5-gallon bucket concrete planter and was modeled in Sketchup. The rest of the posters were made in Illustrator and printed and mounted on foam core at TechShop SF.
