Plan-To-Do is a weekly physical calendar that uses wooden tokens to record audio messages. Hold a token in front of the camera and a red light comes on while you speak the message. When you’re finished recording, put the token on a branch of the metal tree or carry it with you as a reminder. A special token is used to erase the messages.

Project Background: Tangible User Interface Module at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, 2 weeks.
My Role: Along with my colleague at CIID, Li Bian, we prototyped this concept. She was responsible for the code and ideation. I produced the prototype and integrated the hardware.
Process: Sketching, quick prototypes, wood turning, bending metal, welding swivel, paint, cut and laser engraved wood tokens with fiducial icons, drilled for magnets, hacked webcam, arduino, camera recognition software, red and green LED status lights
