This wet-cast concrete bench was developed for an advanced concrete curriculum. Dimension drawings and instructions were provided for the trainees. The concrete pieces lock together in a way that requires precise form building. One end of the bench is hollow with drain holes to be used as a planter. The bench top is reinforced with re-bar and has a channel with voids cast in for inset wooden bridges. Project completed at CHENG Concrete. Berkeley, California 2013.
